During the summer of 2017 I was asking God, "what in the world am I doing HERE?" I began looking online at different mission organizations. I found many, but none of them were what I was looking for - even though I wasn't sure what I was looking for. Soon after I was looking again and found the World Race. I applied for the World Race after talking with my parents about the idea and getting their blessing. The application process was much shorter than I expected. I filled out an application and later received a call from the mission organization. They interviewed me and just three hours later I received my acceptance call, which I was not expecting for a couple of weeks. I began to send out Prayer Letters to tell people what was going on in my life. Adventures in Missions sent me a book called Listening Prayer. It has helped me to be more open about the things that God is doing in my life. I do not know the extent of what God will teach me before, during, and after the Race but I know for a fact that He is faithful and this journey will only bring me closer to Him!
