About Me

For those of you who do not know me my name is Emili. I have three older sisters who are some of my best friends. My mother and father who I would not trade for anything are wonderful parents. I have: one cat and one kitten, a couple of fish that have died on me and my sisters’ dog.  I have been on 3 mission trips outside of the US. I went to Baja, Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I have enjoyed going outside the US because it has given me a better perspective on the world and God’s family. Between trips I have had the privilege to volunteer at my church. I have been working in the AWANA program with the Cubbies (3-5 years old) for the past 7 years. I am also currently the head of our Pre-K children’s church time on Sunday mornings. I love to teach these energetic little people. They love to play and learn, and I love to play and learn/teach along with them. All in all, I love to be a part of God’s ministry which is one reason I am looking forward to going on the World Race Gap Year.
