I am just going to write down everything that the Lord did yesterday. My team and I began the day off with a prayer walk with Sithulele. Liz was in front and she said “I think we need to go over to that house.” We began to walk over and Sithulele said that the family who lives there is are leaders in the church. We walked up and began to talk with the mother. Her name is Precious. “What can we pray for you about?” Walking into her house Precious tidied her house, brought out her son and invited us inside. Her son is fourteen; Lindon is crippled; he is not able to walk or speak and only one hand is usable. We began singing praise and worship over him. Tears began to flow down everyone’s face because the moment was so sweet. I wanted to see him healed in that instant but God wanted to teach me something far greater. Any one can worship God no matter what fiscal condition he is in. Psalms 41:1-3 “blessed is the one who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in time of trouble. The Lord will protect and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desires of his foes. The Lord will sustain him on his sick bed and restore him from his bed of illness.”
Even though Lindon was not healed yesterday I believe that he will be healed. He is loved by the Lord and I am excited to see what the Lord will do and teach me and my team through him! Back at the care point after eating lunch Anna brought out her guitar and patiently let the kids play it. We also taught a lesson on service. We had drawn out pictures of multiple Bible stories that show how Jesus served. We explained the gospel which was the greatest act of service and then invited the kids to come up and learn more about what it means to have Jesus live inside of  you. Many kids prayed so I am excited to see the change and have follow up conversations with them. All the glory goes to God because he is the one who changes lives.
